Nepenthes vogelii Nepenthes We find it reminiscent of

We find it reminiscent of Nepenthes villosa but much easier (a poor man’s villosa if you will)

The leaves reach huge size and we’ve observed some to be over 4 feet long

Though it’s uncertain if the pitchers have evolved to perform this function

Nepenthes vogelii Nepenthes We find it reminiscent ofThis stunning intermediate species comes from the island of Borneo. The lower pitchers are handsome and elongated with deep purple markings. However, its real forte are the uppers which are funnel shaped with an iridescent striping alternating in shiny purple and lime or cream coloration. Its one of our favorites and is a vigorous grower. Weve grown it in our lowland, intermediate and highland greenhouse with success. The plants for sale are BE 3256.
